Song of the Month - ''Brew - New Direction'' on KCLR 96FM
Brew was born in New York City and began acting in primary school. He performed in various productions during his high school years at The Loyola School in New York. His production credits include Macbeth, The Man Who Came to Dinner, The Zoo Story, The Bald Soprano and You're a Good Man Charlie Brown. Upon moving to Dublin in the early 90's, he did musical theatre under Dublin Area Youth Musical Society (DAYMS) with his main role as Jacob in La Cage Aux Folles which had a sold out week's run at the Olympia Theatre.
His love for TV dramas and soap operas has now led him to Bow Street Academy, where he trains as a Screen Actor. Aside from performances and starring roles in his own music videos produced by 369.ie Productions, Brew has scored his first ever film role in Hyphen produced by the UCC Puttnam Scholars supervised by Executive Producer Lord Puttnam - the man behind classics like The Killing Fields and Chariots of Fire. The film premiered at the Cork International Film Festival November 2022.
Brew is a busy man between teaching special needs teenagers, rocking with his band and acting; his words to live by : "Well, ya know!"
