Sonya Macari is an accomplished actor based in both Ireland and Los Angeles. She recently starred as Susan, a defense attorney, in 'The Rainmaker' for Lionsgate. Her versatile career spans stage and screen, with notable roles including 'It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia', 'House', and the Oscar-nominated 'The Artist'. She portrayed Mary Magdalene in the Hallmark Channel's 'Mary Magdalene' and Antonia, an Italian spy, on NBC's 'Chuck'. Other key roles include Francesca in 'Caravaggio' and 'My Mother the Pope', Sara in the sci-fi thriller 'Protocol' starring alongside Eric Lange and Eva Clark in the film noir 'Behind the Curtain'.
