Lenny Gaffney
Lenny is a gifted actor hailing from Russia, but he has been living and growing up in Dublin since he was three years old. He is best known for his role as Wishee Washee in the Liberty Panto and for touring around Ireland playing Aladdin with the Liberty Panto touring company. Additionally, Lenny played a leading role in the short film 'Boy Saint', directed by Tom Speers.
He honed his acting and singing skills under the tutelage of Maureen Ward for several years and took part in many of her showcases. Lenny also completed an eight-week intensive screen acting course with Louise Kiely, which boosted his confidence in self-taping and collaborating with other actors on screen. Over the past three years, Lenny has spent each summer in America, working at summer camps within the theatre department, helping children build their stage performance confidence and staging shows like 'Annie', 'Matilda', and most recently, 'Something Rotten'.
Lenny is a hardworking and committed actor who always strives to bring characters to life using his craft and personal life experiences. With talents in singing, creativity, and athletic pursuits such as running, he is a versatile and skilled actor. Lenny is also set to begin a six-month screen acting course at Bow Street Academy this coming January.
