Austin was born in Dublin, moved to Arcadia, California in 1984 and started his acting career there, by taking workshops at the Pasadena Playhouse, did College Productions at Citrus College, Glendale Community College, where I was nominated 3 times for the Irene Ryan Acting Award, and Community Theatre at Sierra Madre Playhouse, Glendale Centre Theatre and other Theatres around the L. A. area. Made some commercials, and films, before returning to Ireland in 2013, joined Irish Equity in 2015, and started anew by doing some short films, and making some commercials, and feature films, which have been in Festivals, and have won awards.
